The 10 Rules of a Trump

A lot of talk is going on about whether Donald Trump is a worthy candidate for running for president and whether he’s fit enough to carry the role. Who knows. I’m not here to talk about my political views on the matter but what I do know is that the dude has managed to accumulated a vast amount of wealth over the decades as a real estate investor and he should deserve some form of credit for that.

Rules list concept made by a human hand holding a marker on transparent wipe board

You have to admit Trump is a kind of a rebel even if he is despised by the public for his obnoxious behaviour and overbearing ideals you’ve got to give him kudos for having prickly balls, the kind that I’m sure comes from the 10 rules he created from his experiences as a rebel entrepreneur and that everyone should follow in order to be a success in their field of
work, whatever industry you’re in. And yes, that would include the creative one as well.

For Trump thinking big was always one of his mottos and its one that he tends to abide by in his everyday business management. So, after listening to his talk about thinking big I’d like to share Trumps 10 golden rules for becoming a success:

Number 1 –

Thinking big starts with being thorough. don’t count on happenstance to get you anywhere because it won’t.

Number 2 –

Get a momentum going and keep it going – you gotta have big ideas and you’ve got to have the energy to get them done, which can sometimes be a long time. so make sure you keep your momentum going.

Number 3 –

Stay focused, you have to stay focused, the minute you lose focus you will also lose your momentum they go together and you will accomplish a lot more if you make sure you keep these two things working together for you. in these days of multi tasking this can be a real challenge. Always ask yourself ‘what should I be doing right now?’ and make sure you do it to your utmost best.

Number 4 –

Look at the solution not the problem. No matter what you do you are bound to run into problems, its part of life, part of business, part of anything worth doing. If you let the problems get in your way then they’ll become bigger then your idea was to begin with and you will be a wipe out. No matter how bad things look keep your focus on the solution and you’ll be surprised how things can work out and work out properly. Always ask yourself when confronting a problem ‘Is this a blip or is this a catastrophe?’ Right away you will have the right perspective and your equilibrium will be restored. So keep your focus on the solution.

Number 5 –

See opportunity for what it is – an opportunity. Ask yourself this question every day ‘What can I learn today that I haven’t learnt before?’ Take the time to see today as an opportunity and you’ll be surprised by what can come your way. Be open to new ideas and you will be creating your own opportunities before too long.

Number 6 –

Know everything you can about what you’re doing. That’s a good way to cover your bases. Know what you’re doing!

Number 7 –

Be lucky. The harder you work the luckier you get. But this goes along with something that is absolutely necessary for great success – be passionate – You have to love what you’re doing if you want to be successful at it. Work shouldn’t seem like work to you because you need to love it. You will never be successful happy or healthy unless you’re doing what you love to do. That’s just the way it is. So give it some thought, in fact give it a lot of thought. For example, if you’re feeling frustrated then frustration can mean that maybe you’re expecting too much or it can be an indication that you know you should be or could be doing more. Use frustration as a motivator, use it to get where you want to go instead of staying where you don’t want to be. But above all be passionate, that’s the fast track to success no matter what your interests are.

Number 8 –

See yourself as victorious. That can zap negativity immediately and put a positive spin on problems. No matter what you do you will encounter problems so why not see them as challenges instead and know that you are more capable of dealing with them. That’s positive thinking with a realistic slant. Enter every situation with a victorious attitude.

Number 9 –

Be smart. Know that you have something unique to offer because you do use the tools that are provided for you and remain open to new ideas, that’s also where innovation comes from. Being smart means you know how to use what yo’ve got. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing left to learn but that means that you will have the ability to learn and move forward with success. And success is very important, success is what you want. Just be successful you’ll be happier. There are people who have very few advantages in life and yet they’ve managed to become giant successes. They figured out how to use what they had and not to dwell on what they didn’t have. Everyone has something useful to offer and if you apply yourself diligently you’ll find that you have what it takes to succeed.

Number 10 –

Above all never give up, never ever ever give up. The only time you will be a failure is if you quit trying. Only losers quit, the biggest losers in the world are quitters. Winners keep on going. So whatever you do never give up.

And remember: A Rebel never gives up.
